Style at Sea

Our new ‘Style at Sea’ exhibition looking at the grandeur of design and opulence style of the mid-20th century Liners.

Featuring amongst others, topics around Cunard’s Lusitania, Aquitania, Queen Mary, Queen Elizabeth and the QE2 built by John Brown & Company on the Clyde.

The exhibition themes will include dining on board, costume and clothes worn by passengers and the celebrities who took passage on the ships. Displayed within the unique setting of the Linthouse and in the Loch Lomond Gallery of the Scottish Maritime Museum in Irvine from Friday 7th April until Monday 25th September.
