Project Talk I The Piston & The Pen: Dundee Workers and their Writing

Piston, Pen & Press is a University of Strathclyde research project considering Victorian industrial workers and their relationship with contemporary literary culture.

This talk explores the writings of Victorian workers in Dundee, through poetry, song and prose. It considers how they represented their lives and work, and how they formed part of a lively community of local Dundee writers.
