Make and Take

get in to summer 2

Join us in the Linthouse every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday for these ‘Make and Take’ Get Into Summer Activities. For years 4-12 and is inspired by our Into the Maelstrom exhibition.

Themes to eplore include:

  • Make your own origami Kayak.
  • Capsizing Kayak.
  • Make a whirlpool tube
  • Spiral art craft 

Each family group will have their own spot and resources  which will be sanitised/quarantined after use. Maximum number of attendees for each session will be 10 and there are 6 sessions on each day. Each activity lasts around 30mins.

This activity is included in the usual admission price. Each Adult or Concession ticket includes three children at not extra cost. Book Museum admission tickets here.

Limited spaces available due COVID regulations and safe cleaning procedures – to ensure a place please call visitor services on 01294 277 177 before your visit. Or book a slot on entry to the Museum – hourly from 10.30 to 3.30.

All grown-up’s attending are asked to wear a mask (unless exempt) and follow the COVID safety measures in the Museum whilst attending the session.

Families should check-in at the front desk of the Linthouse building with their admission tickets on their phone or paper if preferred and use our Track and Trace system.
