Féis Cala An-struthair

This year we are working in full collaboration with the Harbour Festival to make something bigger and better for the ‘Year of Coasts and Waters’ and to conclude the Scottish Fisheries Museum 50th Anniversary celebrations.

Féis Cala An-struthair is a development of Anstruther’s Annual Harbour Festival. There will be music, dancing, Gaelic language workshop and a muster of visiting historic boats, with other children’s entertainment, performances and trader stalls. This year we hope to enhance this with a headline band (Skippinish), seafood cooking demonstrations from Elmwood College and a guest chef. We also want to add more historic boats to our muster and have a Festival Fishing Fleet made up of historic fishing boats as well as music, stalls, food and much more.

In 2020, Scotland celebrates its Coasts and Waters with a year-long programme of events and activities which will shine a spotlight on these vital elements of our landscape. Find out more about how #GoIndustrial is taking part!
