Each lighthouse was issued with a telescope for keeping watch from the tower. This one was donated to the museum by the late Angus Hutchison MBE. Mr Hutchison is recognised as Scotland's last keeper as he was responsible to turning off the last manned light at Fair Isle South on 31st March 1998.
