A letter from Marine William Gemmel to Mr Aitchison about his son Robert who is missing.
He writes that Robert was one of his best friends in the service and liked by all. He attempts to explain the situation on Crete where Robert went missing but says they got separated. William writes that the last time he saw Robert, he was looking "well and quite cheery"
He asks to send his home address on to Robert when they hear from him to they can stay in touch.
