Photograph, black and white, depicting weavers from Constable Works, owned by Malcolm Ogilvie and Company. This photograph was taken on 12th May 1937, the day of King George VI’s coronation with the mill decorated in bunting and flags in celebration.

The weavers have been identified as, Back row (from left to right): Minnie McLaren (42 years at the mill), Jessie Fisher (53 years at the mill), Margaret Lowden (44 years at the mill). Front row: Margaret Lee (52 years at the mill), Joan Hood (50 years at the mill), Janet Remont (55 years at the mill) and Isabella Graham (54 years at the mill).
