Description

Known as a common brick in the trade. This brick was produced in Carfin, a small village of the outskirts on Motherwell. Many workers were from Lithuania; forced to flee their homeland they were attracted by the employment opportunities in the coal, iron, brick and steelworks of North Lanarkshire.
