A letter to Robert Aitchison's father on Robert being MIA after landing on Crete. The letter reads:
Dear Mr Aitchison,
By now you will know that your son Mr Aitchision is missing, beleived prisoner.
Please accept the deep sympathy of us all in your painful suspense.
I pray that he will remain in good spirits in which he departed for Crete and that a year at war will bring him to you again.
May God strengthen you in your Trouble.
Yours very sincerely
