Ship Shapes

The Scottish Maritime Museum presents 'Ship Shapes' in association with Ayrshire College.

HNC Photography students from Ayr and Kilwinning campuses have collaborated with the Scottish Maritime Museum as part of their Environmental Photography unit. Their brief was to take images that reflected maritime industrial heritage. Many students chose to focus on the detail and textures found in the old machinery and boats which suggested the exhibition title – Ship Shapes.

The Scottish Maritime Museum is proud to have collaborated with Ayrshire College on such a fantastic display of photography inspired by our industrial collection. We wish all students good luck with their future studies.

Entry to the Museum is FREE for Ayrshire College Students who present their student card during the course of the exhibition.
