East Neuk Unearthed: events programme

930x490

There's something for all the family in our programme of events supporting our current exhibition.

Learn about the history uncovered by the recent Burgh Survey with archaeologist Pete Klemen, take one of our guided tours to explore Anstruther's hidden past or brush up your practical skills in our children's archaeology workshops or family drop-in sessions.

Or why not take up a Medieval craft and create something with pewter in our visiting foundry - all equipment provided but take care - things could get hot!

If you prefer to soak up the atmosphere of a Medieval town, let the Company of St Margaret take you back in time to the sights, sounds and smells of the past - experience the view from the inside of a knight's helmet as you wield a sword or spear, or sample the themed menu in our Tearoom - pottage anyone?

Or take a virtual journey through the museum site with ImmersiveMinds as they create the museum in Minecraft - with your help if you want to join the team for the day.

The events programme runs from 22nd June to 29th July so we've got the summer covered!  Full details will be online shortly, or pick up a brochure in the museum to find out what's on.
